"Rohan combines all the elements of basic fantasy -- a young hero, mentors, villains, something to be saved, special powers and, of course, magical creatures -- with great storytelling that appeals to a wide audience." KIRKUS REVIEWS

Welcome to the Weaverworld blog. This is my first official posting and I'm looking forward to keeping in touch with readers who may be interested in knowing more about the author of Grimsnipe's Revenge.

The book is a fantasy-mystery novel featuring an 11-year old boy named Jack Fisher. As the story begins, Jack is going through a particularly rebellious stage in his life and this rebellion leads him into a perilous adventure no-one could have forseen. Suddenly catapulted into a parallel universe called Weaverworld, Jack must face difficult challenges while adjusting to life outside the 'Realworld'. Eventually he is forced to accept that an evil force named Grimsnipe is targeting him, bent on revenge for events hidden deep in the the Fisher family's past.

Weaverworld: Grimsnipe's Revenge, published by iUniverse, is due out within the next six weeks. It will be available in hardcover, paperback and e-book form on iUniverse, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Indigo Canada, among others. When the books are available there will be a launch and signing session at Brome Lake Books in Knowlton, Quebec and at other venues by request.
