The "777" Challenge

I have been challenged by @TheWriteGroup on Twitter to post 7 lines from the 7th page of the book I'm currently working on. As it happens these few words do convey quite a bit about the plot of the sequel to "Grimsnipe's Revenge":

           “I’ve got it!” said the voice on the other end.

            It was Simon. For a moment Jack actually thought his friend might be referring to the lost amulet but then realized that was impossible. Simon didn’t even know his grandmother’s necklace was missing.

            “Got what?” asked Jack.

            “The answer to the riddle. About how to get back to Weaverworld.”
